Marc D. Johnson Jr. (writer)
Marc D. Johnson, Jr. (he/him/his) has been writing poetry and poetic prose ever since he was 17-years-old. Writing [poetry/poetic prose] serves as an escape for Johnson, Jr., as well as a tool for him to gain clarity about himself and the world around him. Johnson, Jr.’s goal is always to “go deeper—be vulnerable; be bold; be free,” and for his upcoming book, ‘Portraits,’ Johnson, Jr. does exactly that. Johnson, Jr. invites readers to dive into the depths of their shared humanity and, more importantly, to choose love—and maybe even a bit of grace—when they recognize parts of themselves throughout the book.
